As a designer and artist, Stanislav’s healthy irreverence for normative assumptions is apparent in work that is playful yet rigorous. He thrives in identifying and exploring critical and subtle potentials in each project. With more than 20 years experience, his work has been recognized through numerous awards and publications.
Originally from Windsor Ontario, Stanislav received his Master of Architecture in 2005, preceded by a Bachelor of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo. During his studies he developed a deep appreciation for the power of space, and overlapping narratives of place. His approach is informed by his experience in design, research and education that spans Canada, the US and Europe. In addition to practice, Stanislav teaches architectural design at Toronto Metropolitan University.
